COVID-19

Following the announcement of a second National Lockdown, the Government have confirmed that we can remain OPEN for routine and emergency appointments.  So, if you have a pre-booked appointment you may still attend as arranged.

Our COVID-19 measures have been working really well since we reopened in June 2020 and will continue for the foreseeable future : 

  • All our staff complete a daily health screen, including a temperature check, to ensure they are safe to work.

  • All patients must complete a pre-appointment health screen before attending and will have their temperature taken on arrival.  Therefore, you must not attend an appointment if you or any of your household :

  • have tested positive for Covid-19

  • are waiting for a Covid-19 test or the results of one

  • have a new continuous cough

  • have a temperature or fever

  • experiencing a loss or change to smell or taste

  • are self isolating or in quarantine following a trip abroad

  • We are operating a "locked door" policy.  All patients are asked to wait for their appointment outside in the car park.

  • Reception is "no contact".  Appointments will be made and payments taken over the telephone.

We are still working under some restrictions surrounding AGP (aerosol generating procedures) and our appointment book has been completely restructured.  Afternoon appointments are now reserved for treatment appointments.  

Hygienist Appointments

Until restrictions on AGP are relaxed, the hygienist service we will be offering is as follows :

  • Full Hand scale and polish

  • Oral hygiene instruction and demonstration of oral health products

Unfortunately, the hygienists are unable to routinely use ultrasonic scalers and air polishers at the moment.

The fee for this hygienist appointment will be £54 (does not apply for Denplan patients).

Family Appointments

Only 1 child and 1 parent will be permitted in Practice at one time.  Any other family members are asked to wait in the car.  

Booking your next routine appointment

We don't know when our appointment structure can return to normal, so we are not pre-booking appointments for 6 months time.  We will make these for you nearer the time and you will receive an appointment by email or telephone.

We also ask that you don't attend the Practice without an appointment.  Whilst it will be lovely to see you, we have to control movement within the Practice and so our entrance will be locked at all times.
