Weekly Round Up - 27/01/22

Staff Daily Log Sheets

From 24/1/22 staff log in sheets have been removed. You no longer need to record your temperature on arrival. If you feel unwell before attending work please make sure you take a lateral flow test.


It is really important that you clock in/out of sling properly at the beginning and end of each shift. Sling will no longer automatically clock you out. Please make sure your timesheets are correct each day.


Patient Arrival

The front door will now be UNLOCKED. When patients check-in for their appointment, reception should ask if they have arrived by car and make sure they are happy to wait there. For walkers etc. reception can tell patients to come straight into practice if waiting room limit (4) allows.


Face coverings for patients remains mandatory for healthcare settings.


Patient temperature checks will no longer be required. Please quickly check the screening questions and make sure hand gel has been applied.


Boxes for personal belongings will continue for the time being.


The thermometer is now stored in OXYGEN BAG.


New Fees

New fees apply from 1/2/22. Main changes are :


Check-up - £45

H1 - £56

H2 - £75


There will be some patients who have received a treatment estimate with a hygienist treatment at £54 or £70. We will honour the fee quoted, so there will be a mix of fees coming through for the next couple of months.


CPD

We are now half way through the CPD year for all DCPs. Looking at the Agilio dashboard, some have done more CPD than others. So, just a reminder not to leave your 10 hours until the last minute. Also, if you are behind with your hours for previous years you will have to do more this year to catch-up. If you want to upload the external CPD certificate for Medical Emergency Training to your agilio account please let Michelle know.
